Christmas Countdown

Okay, so it is now post-Thanksgiving, meaning I am in Christmas mode. I put all my Christmas songs back on my iPod, and added some new ones. In fact, I recommend that everyone listen to the Relient K Christmas CD entitled "Let it Snow, Let it Reindeer." That has dominated my playlist as of late. The first three songs, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "Sleigh Ride", and "Merry Christmas, Here's to Many More" are the best. Some of the songs on the CD would make good Guitar Hero songs, too. I can't forget the classics. Burl Ives is a Christmas song God. And to close out the Christmas paragraph: an honorable mention goes to the song "Happy Xmas, War is Over" by John Lennon and remade by the Fray. Both versions are splendid.

Evan, Kevin, and I are currently working on Secret Project 001. All you need to know is that it will be a song, a YouTube video, and amazing.

And to close today's post, I am planning a Christmas Movie Marathon at my house. I'm thinking it will be the day of our Senior Christmas Party, and we'll watch a ton of movies, and also do a Secret Santa. Spaces are limited, to around 6-8...and three guests are confirmed. You if you want to be one of the remaining 3-5, let me know...although none of you read my blog...

That's all for today.

Sean Taylor (DB, Redskins) shot at his house

Like the guy or hate the guy, he's a hell of a football player. Let's hope everything turns out okay.

Update: Sean Taylor has passed on. He was only 24 years old.

RIP Sean Taylor.

Thanksgiving Break

Happy belated Thanksgiving! I had a terrific day. I worked the concession stand at the football game for the final time. Unfortunately, the football team lost 42-28 to Marlboro. The stand was crazy, but it was always fun working with everyone in there. After the game, my family and I (as well as Lauren's friend) went up to Vermont to stay at my Aunt and Uncle's Bed and Breakfast. We got there around 6:30, and ate around 7:30. Dinner was absolutely amazing. There was nothing to complain about. It even snowed! Now I can't wait for it to snow here because snow is freakin' awesome. I can't wait to go back up there again. But besides Thursday/Friday morning, I haven't had the most exciting vacation. Friday night stunk but I won't get into details about that. Saturday (today) I'm going to go to the Natick Mall which will be my first time going there since they added all those new stores.

I have a pretty exciting week coming up too. On Thursday I have the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge in Boston. That should be pretty amazing as long as my team doesn't get its but kicked. If my team does somehow manage to squeak out a win, I will declare myself a J.A. All-Star for winning everything they throw at me.

In recentish news, the most amazing thing ever happened in the music pirating world. The website TorrentFreak is suing a Dutch anti-Piracy group for stealing a quote from them. Basically, a pro-pirating Web-Site is suing an anti-piracy group...for piracy. The full article/blog post can be found here if you would like to read it yourself.

And in closing, I would just like to say that I applied to my first college! Wednesday night I applied to St. John's University in Queens. I should know in 2-3 weeks whether or not I'm accepted...so fingers crossed.

YouTube! + other things

So while working on our Turkey Day sheet (which came out amazing, by the way), Mr. Martin showed us the absolute funniest video ever. It was called "Suspended for obeying the rules". Now I think the kid who makes these videos might actually have some kind of disease, but still, the videos he makes are just too funny not to watch and laugh at. I recommend that you (the one reader I might sometime get) watch at least a few of his videos.

Also, Presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee has probably the greatest campaign commercial in history. You can view it here. I won't spoil anything, but I will give you one giant hint to its greatness: CHUCK NORRIS. Even though I have officially endorsed Mitt Romney, I would love for Huckabee to be his VP just because of this ad.

Yeah so back to the Turkey Day sheet: It was finished today after an extremely long after noon. We put in close to three hours of work on it this afternoon. I suspect we will win, since our class is amazing. The theme of our sheet this year was "And the streak begins." We have a naked Hawk, and a bunch of naked turkeys trampling a panther, while running across the football field. It was well painted, but I never want to touch a paintbrush again. It took way too long.

And yea, that's all for today. Peace.

Yo, What it do?

Ah yes, a blog. I knew sooner or later I would get really freaking bored and make one, and ta-da!, here it is. I'm not sure how often I will post here, but I figure that I have enough to say that an occasional post will be up, say twice a week or so. This first blog should probably have something to do with introducing myself, so here it goes:

I'm AJ, a senior at Hudson High, who is seriously looking forward to graduating. I was captain of the golf team before the season (and my career) ended with the team winning 15 of 16 matches, Leagues, Districts, and finishing 6th in states. A pretty successful year I would say. For hobbies, I like to golf (obviously), play video games, play random sports, chill, party, and be awesome. I like pretty much every kind of music except for screamo and death metal. I love watching movies, especially comedies. Basically that's all the important stuff anyone would want to know, so there you have it: AJ in a nutshell.

These should get more interesting as time goes on when I actually give my 2 cents on news topics and the like. So enjoy and happy reading.
